We are located in the heart of the deer and turkey country. The bear hunting is excellent!!! Two of the hunters that stayed at the motel harvested bear within five miles of the motel. There are three state game lands within five miles of us with excellent grouse hunting too.
You can walk out the back door and fish for trout in Sartwell creek (state stocked stream) or walk 200 yards to the Allegheny river (also state stocked). If your a native trout fisherman there are many locations nearby.
